Sponsors are guaranteed at least five hundred (500) broadcast equivalents from some combination of the following per program possibilities: (a) KCDO-TV Channel 3 K3 Colorado (up to 6 broadcast equivalents), (b) live-streaming, if it is done for any programs (up to 4 equivalents), (c) COMCAST Entertainment Television (up to 4 equivalents depending on the broadcast schedule), (d) COMCAST 24/7 Video on Demand service (4 equivalents); (e) ION Media Networks (2 equivalents), (f) Municipal and/or Public Access stations and channels (up to 8 equivalents); (g) other local or regional channels (up to 12 equivalents); (h) Publication Partners and Publishers’ Advantage Websites (up to 40 equivalents), (i) the www.HarberTV.com and the www.Colorado-Now.com Websites plus associated Websites (up to 4 equivalents per Website), and/or (j) other broadcasters and/or Websites (up to 4 equivalents per entity). Each separate program is multiplied by the appropriate equivalent and then added together to get the final equivalent total.
Broadcast days and times are subject to change at any time by each broadcast entity and cannot be guaranteed by USA-TN. For 500 broadcast equivalents, the maximum per broadcast equivalent rates are as follows: Level 2 = $100 per broadcast equivalent, Level 3 = $250 per broadcast equivalent, Level 4 = $500 per broadcast equivalent, and Level 5 = $1,500 per broadcast equivalent. These per-broadcast equivalent rates are reduced further if the broadcast equivalent total exceeds 500. In the event there are more than 500 broadcast equivalents, the Sponsor shall have the benefit of all those extra broadcast equivalents at no additional charge. This includes broadcaster entities not listed above. If a show were broadcast regionally and/or nationally, a broadcast equivalency would be determined using the same parameters as those in use. Sponsors would have the benefits of any regional or national broadcasts because there would be no additional charges. On-air sponsorship benefits remain permanently for all full uses of every sponsored program. This means programs available for multiple years keep the Sponsor’s benefits intact.
Sponsorships are tax-deductible as marketing, advertising, promotional, public relations, or other business expenses for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. Underwriting is independently facilitated by the Democracy and Media Education Foundation, a Section 501(c)(3) public charity. There is no limit to how much an Underwriter or Sponsor may contribute to these broadcast initiatives or who may make such a contribution. Sponsorship and underwriting payments made by businesses, other organizations and/or individuals to the DMEF are tax-deductible as charitable contributions. Underwriting through the DMEF must be done directly with the DMEF (www.DMEFD.org). Send checks to Mr. Matthew R. Silverman, Treasurer, DMEF, 3195 11th Street, Boulder, CO 80304-2527.
Direct Sponsorship payments should be sent to USA Talk Network, Inc., 2500 North 119th Street, Lafayette, CO 80026-9216. All payments to USA-TN are tax-deductible as advertising, marketing, promotional, and/or public relations expenses. These can apply to the DMEF as well. In all cases, Sponsors formally acknowledge they have no editorial control of any programming at any time. USA-TN cannot guarantee the appearance of any specific guest(s) but makes its best efforts to secure guest commitments. All programs produced by USA-TN are copyrighted and are owned solely by USA-TN and Aaron Harber, with all usage rights reserved at all times. Thanks for your support!
