Colorado Public Television KBDI/TV-12 is located in Denver, Colorado at the Five Points Media Center (a large, three-story whitish-gray building) -- just northeast of downtown Denver at 2900 Welton Street. It is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of 29th Street and Welton Street. There is a small parking lot to the east which is for the Station and its guests and there usually is plenty of on-street parking in the area. The offices and studios of KBDI are on the first floor. If you want to use MapQuest or a similar service, your destination is: 2900 Welton Street, Denver, CO 80205. Here are directions on how to get to KBDI.
Take I-25 (South); Stay to the right as I-25 approaches the interchange with I-70; Take the Park Avenue exit to the right immediately after going through the interchange; Bear left, following the Park Avenue signs as the exit goes up and over I-25; As it goes east, Park becomes 23rd Street; Follow 23rd past Coors Field all the way to Welton Street (you will know Welton because the Light Rail lines run along it); Turn left onto Welton; KBDI is located 6 blocks ahead on the right-hand side.
Take I-70 (West); Bear right onto ramp to Washington Street; Turn left onto Washington Street; Follow as road goes into 38th Street; Bear right onto Walnut Street [Highway 33]; Bear left onto Downing Street; Bear right onto California Street; Turn left onto E 29th Street; KBDI is located 2 blocks ahead on the left-hand side.
Head north on Broadway; Near I-25 (where Broadway becomes a one-way street going south), bear right onto Lincoln Street (which runs one-way going north); Take Lincoln all the way through downtown; Stay in right lane as Lincoln takes a half-left turn at 20th Street; Immediately turn right onto Welton Street Stay on Welton Street for 9 blocks. KBDI is located on the right-hand-side. Alternate Route: Head north on Broadway; Turn left onto US 285 (West); Turn right onto US 85 (North); Follow as road goes into South Santa Fe Drive; Continue onto Santa Fe Drive; Continue onto Stout Street; Turn right onto 28th Street; Turn left onto Welton Street; KBDI is located one block further on the right-hand side.
Take US 6 East; Bear right onto ramp to I-25 (North); Follow as road goes into I-25 (North); Bear right onto US 287+ 40 (East); Turn left onto Stout Street; Turn right onto 28th Street; Turn left onto Welton Street; KBDI is located one block further.
Regional Transportation District ("RTD") Light Rail stops right in front of the building at the corner of 29th and Welton Street.
